Having played a vampire toon for over a year now I can say the real fun in the race is being the best creepy vampire you can be. It's more about the RP for that particular "shiny" race given that whatever their strengths, their weaknesses are heavy.

For RP it would be nice if they had a mechanical "Alluring Gaze" something reasonable, nothing OP. And the mist form... It has an awesome function, it would just be neat if it could be used like the other polymorph forms as well, so you can sell the whole "Blaaah I am the mist in the night Blaaaah" angle.

I love the bat form for travel, but what if instead of it getting bigger as the toon grows in power, To the point it's like a bulldog with wings, it instead becomes a swarm of Bats? It's still better suited for escapes and travel, rather than combat, but it would be pretty fun.

I don't know, just a few thoughts on the race.

Also, race specific class of "Blood Mage" would be really interesting.

Going to piggyback some of my own feedback, related to yours, onto this thread Hope you don't mind.

I would prefer gaseous form be a once per day sort of thing that you can stay in indefinitely. It could be toggled on/off at will, and also trigger upon death as it currently does but only once per day, so if you have used it already for RP purposes, it will not trigger upon death (for example).

Currently, I find it pretty useless. Mobs just keep chasing and hitting you while you're a "cloud", so when it wears off, you just die again. There's no way I'd be able to run all the way home to my coffin like I'm supposed to, either.

Would really be fun to turn into that cloud when I want, so I can RP stuff like .. slipping through cracks in doors/whatever me and my friends are making up at the time. Flying about and doing the spoopy vampire stuff vampires do.

A dominate gaze would be really great, even with low DC (victim can just choose to ignore the DC if they want), just so that there's a more definitive "okay, you're being enthralled now." kind of animation.

Yeah, I always thought it was weird Vampire's didn't at least have a charm-gaze~ even 1x per day, Haha...
