Message Boards - "Pinned" messages, capacity

I realize this is kind of a suggestion but it's also kind of feedback now that I am managing several message boards with decent traffic. Would it be possible for the owner of a board to "Pin" messages, so that they are always at the top of the first page? I kind of hate having to remove and re-post messages that are important constantly. Also, something that tells you the board's capacity when you post a message would be nice. Something like the storage chest dialogue, "This is post 25 of 30 capacity on this board" or something. It would be very useful to know when messages need to be moved/archived.
Thanks.

If this is implemented, can we get this for notebooks, too? I like to chronicle things ICly, but I'm not normally attentive enough to realize that I've filled up a notebook - which leads to loss of things written.
Please and thanks.

Or, for notebooks... maybe once they've reached capacity, disallow adding more notes to it with a feedback message letting you know the notebook is FULL.

If you're wanting messages to stick around for the long term, it might be simply to just put up a sign board with the long-term message(s) in the description.

Message boards OR notebooks... -could make it a TOGGLE that the 'owner' of the item (board or book) can turn on or off.
