Some Love for Prisms

So I am still new to this game and figuring out mechanics but one of the things that sticks out to meet is the cost benefit ratio of making prisms for artists. Each prism takes around 15 high end gems, 10 low end gems and a dragon oil, which usually runs around $35k. Add that to the 40 DC cost to make and the risk of failure and you would think you would be getting something pretty awesome. But instead it is like a stream book without the bonus summons. Maybe when streams first came out and you were the one guy with the fire stream, these seemed like a great idea. However, streaming books drop like candy on bookshelves anymore. By the time my caster hit level 20 i had found all 4 elemental streams, 3 dragon streams and the celestial, infernal, abyssal and yugloth streams, and that was soloing most of my dungeons so no wicked drop locations. I usually carry 2-3 streaming books around to hand out to new players to help them get started and a fair price seems to be $12-17k in shop, half the price of the dragon oil.
I know the suggestions thread is closed but it would be nice of prisms mirrored the books but were more powerful. Each came with a use on self to learn the stream and a use on environment to cast a high level creature. Like a level 8 elemental creature or a level 3-5 axiomatic creature, which could be boosted to a top tier creature with GSF conjuration. Dragons would summon a dragon from that stream and undead would be a create undead cast. It would be a once per day but it could make for a pretty awesome conjurer who carried all his prisms out on his belt for the world to see.
I think improving these would actually make art crafting a lot better as well. As it stands, it doesn't provide nearly as good equipment as forging, tailoring, and carpentry, nor does it give the buffs of alchemy and herbalism.
Thoughts?
