Maybe drop Greensteel to lvl 11 to use as it seems odd greensteel and damask are both lvl 13 to use. If Damask is 13 then I think making Greensteel 11 would make a lot of sense.

It's based on item value IIRC. Not custom controlled.

Greensteel is overall better than Damask. I don't think it would make sense from a balance standpoint.

Then maybe drop damask to 11, as it is there isn't a lot of reason for people to make a normal damask blade. I think I am like a lot of people where I go from bronze, iron, steel, greensteel and then M Damask. All my smiths I have never been asked to build a damask. M iron, or M steel. just seem like Greensteel and damask shouldn't both be lvl 13.

I agree about damask and m. steel, with the exception of rogues who often like damask rapiers/daggers because they are dex-based and more importantly, do not want the glow from greensteel.

M. steel in general though...is sadly a waste. Maybe if the AB was bumped to +3 and the damage kept at +2 it would be attractive at level 10? Otherwise, it is skipped completely.

Masterly steel also takes a ton of crafting points, for a result less than greensteel and damask.
