Can the server get rid of the toll gate or make it so it can't be destroyed. Seems 10gp is a lot to some and feel the gate needs to be blown up. Seems pointless for it to be there if it's simply so easy to blow up. So maybe it's time for the gate to go.

It can be destroyed... one time i payed the toll and the door did not open and he demanded i pay again. Rp'ed telling the guy to go to hell, summoned an earth elemental, and broke down the gate while lecturing him about why cheating people is a bad idea. Amusingly enough that glitch has completely stopped occurring after that.

Its not to much...But do you know how many times I (and probably everyone) run from cordor (pass 2 loadings and 1 server) to find you forgot on that dammed old robber who will not let you pass bcs of dammed 10 gold? And you had to take detour or run back to cordor for those damned 10g just to open that bloody gate?! I cant even count how many times it happened...

I literaly made mage just to cast bloody power word kill on that old bastard and burst that damned gate with fireballs everytime I go there....every sweet time....ouu yes....

The gate always seemed odd there. Cordor must spend more repairing the gate then they ever have made from tolls, assuming that old man doesn't pocket the money.

It's a reference to an IC event that happened a long time ago, where the bridge was blocked off.

Think of it as Arelith's sweetroll. You can stomp on it, give it to the bully, or walk away.

There are few things more relaxing then destroying that gate.

The gate has sort of created a stigma in my characters.
My lawful characters will pay up and pull the lever after them.
My chaotic characters will either destroy the gate or (more likely) pay up but not close the gate after them, as a way to spite the man when he loses out on payment for the next travelers that pass through.
