Dear DM Cool Guy,

I recently wronged you and I would like to apologize. Publicly. I had in my signature an image that clearly shared your info and I had it for the world to view it without your explicit permission. To boot it was deceptive, edited. I thought it was merely to cut out fat so the purpose could be clear, but that is not how it came across.
I apologize for my error. What I did was a gaffe and I have edited my signature to be more appropriate. I understand some damage has been done and I'm willing to work on that with you. Accountability is important to me and I'm grateful to you for this opportunity to set a good example.

But before that, let's talk. You seem like you want to make this conversation public so by all means. Let me explain to you why your doctored screenshot was incredibly rude and inflammatory.

Your prior signature (and lets be honest, your current one) is doctored leaving out the context of the length conversation Sollers had with you trying to find a means to accommodate and support your endeavors even though they realistically cannot be accomplished in for the sake of Arelith's setting integrity. Your snippet shows an out of context remark that would make it seem as though Sollers had not spent a long time trying to work things out with you and listen to your feedback.

Had you used any other interaction with a DM that had perhaps wronged you or behaved in an unprofessional manner that might have even been defensible. Your jab (and that's what it is) is utterly disrespectful to someone who has tried very hard to work with you, and you returned their patience by weaponizing your private conversation with them in a public discourse. It is selfish, petty, and unbecoming of someone who would call themselves a community leader.

If you truly wanted to apologize (and I don't think that was your intention here) you should PM it to the team directly, and delete your signature.

Regardless this is your formal request to delete your signature. Here's a cute lizard you can put there instead if you can't find anything that isn't toxic propaganda in your echo chamber.
