Regarding the Recent Updates

They seem really neat and work well to bring the various involved classes into viability without making anything particularly overpowered, and they promote synergy that wasn't present before. I really like the new updates.
Thanks, Devs!

i think monk builds will be very stream lined now. i can't see any reason to multi class at all on a monk anymore. they get everything for free lol

Yup. A lot more viable classes these days.
The late lvl perks (25-28) does mean less build variety but I prefer overall balance and making each class viable to multiclass options. Also most people will still do at least a 3 class dip for umd

...To obtain the benefits of other classes?
You don't get Epic Weapon Spec until 28, meaning you can't get both it and UMD unless you multiclass. Which you can do, still. And you can still dip and receive the Monk UBAB bonuses and 10% movement speed increase, it just isn't the insane uncapping that it was before.
Other bonuses that Monks get from 21-27 can likewise be obtained from other sources without major sacrifices, but require a little bit of specialization. Which is fine, fair, and balanced.
Like I said, it's a well-designed and implemented update.

Concerning DwD since they no longer need the DEX 13 and Dodge feat investment: Is the server policy that we don't get rebuilds for free but can ask a DM to transfer the stuff onto a new version of the character and relevel from level 3 independently?

I like the sounds of most of the recent updates, especially for Assassins and Shadowdancers. Never played a monk so I cannot comment on their recent updates.
A couple of points though. The reduction in spot and listen perks as well as the .10 % of a skill point increase per level from 14th level to 24th level rogue for spot and listen seems a bit weak. Gaining +1 skill points for ten levels of progression in a class is not a perk at all.
Also, perhaps there are ramifications I am unaware of but why give Ultravision to True Sight which in essence now makes darkness useless against casters or anyone with a scroll (both players and monsters). Darkness was a vialbe means of escape if necessary and now is well, not.

It's not +2 to +3, it's +2 to +5.

Because the spell is supposed to pierce
any magical effect that would keep you from otherwise seeing things "as they truly are." According to the spell text, this includes darkness (magical
and normal, in fact, out to 120 feet), and can even be used to peer into the ethereal plane. More importantly, something that it's supposed to do that it doesn't, is
nullify magical concealment bonuses against the enchanted creature (Displacement, Improved Invisibility), which is huge.
Given how much higher of a level the spell is than See Invisibility, one must admit it would suck a lot on a relative balance scale if the spell only gave the ability to see invisible for a shorter duration than see invisibility and a split second of stealth penetration that was suddenly rendered useless by a darkness spell.
Edit: And for the record, I am 100% all for true seeing not piercing mundane stealth, which is also in line with the spell. I might argue that in some circumstances it should nullify certain gear and spell bonuses, however. I'd argue a fair way to accommodate that would be to give the clairaudience/clairvoyance bonuses for the duration of the spell, as well, and remove the auto-stealth pierce.
Edit 2: Also, for the record- that's a lot of work that went live in a very quick amount of time. Good job, and thank you!

Anyone who can cast true sight can already cast ultravision and the UV spell lasts hours so in most cases the true sight ultravision will be a redundant effect anyway. Likewise when you use darkness most casters and UMDers will have a UV spell or wand either active or handy so it's not that reliable. I certainly wouldn't trust it for a getaway against any epic character who knew what they were doing though it can be disorienting.
