Quality of life: Time Dilations between servers

For those playing drow or vampires, it's extremely frustrating to go from a server that just hit 20:00 to one that is at 6:00. It would be great if this was looked at where all servers had a coordinated time.

Agreed, it can be a bit immersion-breaking at times, passing from 10 AM to midnight !
Although I suppose it must be hard to code otherwise it would have been done already !

A way to request the date from other servers or a way for it to show on the portal might be easier to do and still allow trips to be planned.

I definitely agree... kinda weird when its day in Cordor, night on the rest of the surface, and random in Skal and Sibayad.

Easy fix, Put the IG time of server at the portal webpage. or in -playerlist(?)

I suggested this about a year ago, but felt I should bring it up again.
It would be great if the server's time was kept off-server. As in, it was separate from the actual game server, and every time the Surface, Cities & Planes and Distant Shores server started, it would fetch the current time from the external source. You could have the current time and date displayed on a web page that people could access. This'll keep the time consistent and progressing at a natural rate, and allow for accurate timekeeping.
It really is more important than most people give it credit for, considering how the server's history progresses. You could even develop it to reflect seasons later. It has a lot of potential.
Something like that, but reflecting current Arelith time. It would basically be a clock that is moving ten times faster.
