Runic Property Disappeared From Item

Yesterday, I had on my character Ilphaeryl Xun'viir, a boot item that I had applied a Masterwork Woven Rune to in the draconic tongue. The rune successfully took to the boots, with both indications that it was ready for dweomer-work via the draconic tongue, and that it could no longer be infused with runes. There was no dweomercrafter present at the time to immediately apply the property I wanted.

Immediately after the rune application, I -saved. I cannot recall if I server transitioned or not afterward as I was a little on auto-pilot. I did go into combat on the PC and the boots /may/ have dropped in durability during the hectic dungeoneering. Unfortunately I do not have a saved log of yesterday's activity, so I couldn't say for certain what occured.

The boots were a previous mundane item that were enchanted under the old enchantment system, and were cosmetically altered by the facilities of the cobbler PC at the City Port in Andunor. However this was months ago, though it could still be pertinent.

Today I logged in and noticed that my PC's boots have returned to their previous unimbued state, and no longer have the runic property. The server did not crash between the time I applied the rune and the time I logged for the evening. I'm uncertain why the runic property could have disappeared between the morning of 5/25 10:00 AM US Est time and now, but figured I should make a report. Thanks for any insight in advance.

This is not an answer, this is just commiseration. Finally obtained a moon blade on a Drow only to have the runic property disappear. I personally wonder if this has anything to do with renaming, because the shadowy figure I obtained it from renamed it.

Just to clarify, was your item in question renamed at all after the runic property added? Alternately, was the description fiddled with?

The item was not renamed, nor was the description changed after the rune's addition. Sorry, forgot to add that.

The runic disappeared off of my Masterly Elven Chain as well. Haven't done anything to it except put a resistance essence on it, but that shouldn't (and didn't, until just today) have removed the runic property.

I haven't. I'll try to get on this quickly (been putting it off) and post the results.

Yes. I put it in the basin, and the bonus +100% chance isn't there. Just the normal 5%
