Deep Imaskari starting location

Attempted to create a Deep Imaskari on Distant Shores. Using the starter door ported me to C&P's creation area, using the door there sent me to Andunor. No option to choose to start elsewhere.
Creation also allowed me the chance to pick outcast, which seems like a small oversight as an Underdark race.

Not sure why this isn't working, but will check now. In the meantime ping the dm channel to get moved.

Having chosen to go to Skal as the various NPCs recommend, I discovered DI can't do writs. Obviously, this means that going to Skal is a really bad idea for Deep Imaskari.
Maybe the DI NPCs shouldn't tell you you can go to Skal?

Or just let the DI do Skal writs
