Is it just me or are there server problems? Surface and Cities are missing and test server and Shores just never lets me log on. Portal shows everything up.

Those unable to connect right now due to the server not displaying in the list can use direct connect and use the ip address following:

Cities and Planes - game.arelith.com:5122 (or 138.201.20.77:5122)
The Surface - game.arelith.com:5123 (or 138.201.20.77:5123)
Distant Shores - game.arelith.com:5121 (or 138.201.20.77:5121)

Tried for surface. Both ways.

Ditto. And couldn't get those ports to work either.

Odd, it was working earlier when they first dissapeared, I guess something else broke down.

I would advise posting on their forums in hope of an answer!

Trying to direct connect didn't work for me either. This is killing my excuses for why I can't mow the lawn.

Has direct connect ever worked ? I mean since EE, has it ever worked?

It has for me. At least once.

what is the magic to getting Direct connect to work ? just hit direct connect at bottom (of the console) and enter appropriate IP and port ya?

Yup. Though it isn't working to get you in Surface or Cities and Planes right now.

i dont get how some of can not get on but im watching other get on and move between server.
and yes i have tried direct connecting to the ee , game and straight ip and port address. and nothing

All three servers are up but there are only maybe three or five people on each. Was told its due to something on Beamdog's end... some kind of new system they just rolled out which apparently is not compatible for 90% of the player-base?

Nothing to connect to from my Linux or Android clients. Games not listed. Direct connect fails.

Looks like maybe beamdogs authentication servers getting ddosed

Can confirm connecting doesn't work. Tried Direct Connect, no luck there either on all 3 servers.

Can confirm this is still an issue. Tried direct connect and server connect for distant shores.

Portal is showing a few players connected, 2-3.

And for the record, i have regularly been able to both direct connect and go through the regular selection page.

Please share the secret of direct connect. Are you using steam or no?
If no, are you launching NwN.exe then hitting the direct connect box and placing the IP address and pot number in box?

Steam on Mac. Launch NWN. Click join multiplayer. Click direct connect and put the server address from the portal page.

Not working now though

Two strikes for me. I’m using win10 and not using steam. I launch nwnmain.exe , then enter server address and port; this has never worked for since EE “upgrade”.
I suppose I will sleep a bit and try again in a few hours.

Seems to be back up as of now.
