I've been there a few times,

It is quite insane, No?

The writ is for lvl 18 max, And the second part is lvl 19max.
And it could be, If you don't face armies of missle tossing axe wielding etc etc's.

Might need to shift the lvls a little or fix the spawn?

I don't know why rocks fell down and covered the old Banite guild house. The area should still exist for aspiring cave-villains, especially cults of a less represented church on Arelith. A lot like the Abyssal Fortress in purpose imo. Also it's in the Minimir area which adds an extra dynamic to the conflict in that area.

Druids do not count, They play Arelith on easy mode.

On the 5th lvl of the cave I always get 100 to 0 in one round by missile storms. Havent been there for like a month so maybe it was tweaked in the meanwhile but the OP is not the only who got rekt by missile storms. I suggested before that these missile storms become lesser storms instead of greater ones or that the frequency of Mystic Ogres is tweaked (cuase you spawn something like 4/5 casters every spawn). Something needs to be balanced there. Its easy for a lvl 15+ character to solo if there arent missile storms and it's way too hard to survive there if there are missile storms. Something needs to be done about the missile storms.

The spell Spell Resistance cakewalks that, but not everyone has friends or blinged out helmets.

Likewise while it won't neccesarrily kill a mage with shield up or spell resistance it may well wreck their summon and killing or CCing so many mages in short order is difficult I recall (Has been a long while since I visited the caves as it has never been worth the time to delve through for my current character)

The area was repurposed, actually, it's not just been deleted.

Not to mention they summon too, My gf walked into the top of the cave, Opened a door and ran into ten mages. It was litterly " OK Bye" for her.
You can sum it to " When bad things happen to good adventurers" but I get a lot of horror stories from the Minmir cave.

I can take a look at the ratios of these creatures spawning in the area (the frequency relative to the other spawns), rather than adjusting them.

Is there some that should appear a lot less? List them here and I'll get to it tomorrow.

The ogre mages. The ones that puke up ILMS.

Two instances of five of them spawning together.

In the first one of those, they all aggro'd at the same time - immediately after an area transition that can cause you to be lying on the ground for a round... Keep in mind, they can cast IGMS.

Yeah, those are pretty common spawn ratios. You show up and suddenly there's 5 elementals.

Or more commonly. Five castings of invis, followed by five castings of IGMS.

The upside is that all those magic missiles kill my computer before they kill my PC, so I don't have to watch my messy demise.

I've dropped the frequency of the Ogre Mystics as per advisement of Irongron.

One of the issues in the lower lvl is there a few spots where its easy to get two maybe three groups of monsters on you at once. So that helps with getting a lot of mystics on you.

hadnt noticed this thread, and ran the whole cave just because i hadnt on my main toon.

im sure if i had run into the center of the chamber I would have had a bigger fight on my hands, but i didnt and only got LOS by the bullettes which I drug out of the main area to the chokepoint and got rid of them then went for the ogres. Five mystics couple of hte armored guys and the matriarch no mages so it was just a slugfest but no real issues. Still had 100 hp left when the fighting was done

If the many times I've been there, I've only died to a massive IGMS spam once and I laughed pretty hard.

May not kill you, but it's still unavoidable healkit tax.
