The gate guards of castle Gloom like running around in response to spawns, of which there are many, and don't usually return to where they're meant to. Further, for whatever reason, their dialog actually just opens the CLOSEST doorway to the NPC, rather than the second NPC opening the second gate, and so on. This means the second gate NPC often opens the first gate, rendering the castle utterly inaccessible.

I am adding this to my list. Thanks for reporting.

I made a fix for this, the behaviour should be changed in a few days.

if this went in, now the outer gate doesnt open whatsoever no matter how many times i try the npc, which is prooobably not intended.

the npc confirms my 'papers check out'.

Hmm I'll have a look. What about the inner gate? (or you couldn't check that because you couldn't open the outer gate?)

The guard gave me the script 'Your papers check out, I'll unlock it for you' but nothing happened. This was on 7/21 around 1600 GMT.

We’ll resolve this hopefully by Thursday. I’m just on vacation and will be looking it over with Arentides

One of the most annoying bugs I ever encountered. Just a little bit more time please
