Wiki states brew potion allows all lvl 3 or lower spells to be potioned (http://wiki.arelith.com/Feat_changes#Feat_changes)

But using
Call lightning - lvl 3 druid
Spike growth - lvl 3 druid
Healing Sting - lvl 3 druid

Does not work

my question is this bugged or is there something I missed?

This is an oversimplification, but they have to be spells you could cast on yourself as potions automatically have you selected as the target.

For example Healing Sting, you wouldn't throw it as a grenade that would heal you, rather you'd lose x HP then immediately be healed for that, making it pretty pointless.
