Island Ruins Skiff Placement

Took the Hrafnagar to the Island Ruins and could not get back on the boat without DM assistance. Not sure if the placement is static or if it moves, but it is the position in the middle of the landing area next to a big rock. It seems you have to get near the end of the skiff to board, but its placement makes this completely impossible.
