Hello,
Request a code review for a possible bug/limitation regarding the recipe for crafting>herbalism>potions>Giant Strength
One of the required ingredient objects is simply labeled as “Spirits”. Using Spirits purchased from an NPC vendor (bar keep) does not work. I somehow managed to already successfully create this production. I must have originally looted a Spirits object from an NPC creature during my first time crafting the potion. My second attempt I used purchased Spirits from the vendor to continue production. However, the crafting production menu list was: 0/2 Spirits. I was told it must come from looting an NPC (goblin, ogre, ect). I finally was able to loot another one. I already had 10 in my inventory from the vendor. When I looked at my inventory again, it was stacked as 11 – not as a separate “looted” Spirits bottle. The crafting production menu still listed: 0/2 Spirits.
Suggest either changing the required object to something like:
“Gross back wash gin bottle from an Ogre” or to allow players to use Spirits from a vendor.
Thank you.

You can use spirits purchased from vendors if you use the ones that don't come stacked, if I recall correctly.
Re: possible Giant Strength ingredient issue
Figured I'd bump this thread since this bug is still alive.
In order to use the recipe you must buy a single spirit from a bar and have no spirits in your inventory that it might accidentally stack.
I tried making them from scratch, using one from a monster, or using a whole stack or just one from a stack. None of them work.
Pretty frustrating! The only way to figure this problem is out was to run a forum search. This might be why you never really see these great potions on the market.

So we're very much on track.

If you keep that one single in your inventory then put a stack on it, the whole stack works. I normally just never use my last spirit bottle so I can pick it up wherever and ensure it works. Yeah the bug needs fixed but at least there is a work around.
