Access to divine wands, or keeping some amount of the fighter boosts even if its just the level 15 deflection ac addition, or both. I doubt either would make the class too powerful, as Fighter/wm/rogue is still going to be strictly stronger mechanically speaking as is a pure paladin with a bard splash, but they would make the class justifiable as an option.

Rejected (for a few reasons, including the latest update, and the fact that CoT has some utility in certain combinations).
