Paladin lost an iconic feature of their class - their mount. PDK is based off the PDK class and the knight class in general in DnD. Both being literal abstractions of chivalric knights. Both mechanically in PnP get bonuses to horsin' around.

Make it so at the fifth level both paladin and PDK get 'Mounted Combat' for free.

Along with this they should get the horse riding skill focuses for free. Not sure when it'd be appropriate levelwise.

Anyway - let these class trot down the Old Town Road in their 62 white helmets.

Rejected.

Because I don't know what might be done with Mounted Combat in future (hence it might be too powerful to give for free) and secondly because on Arelith PDK is just 'knight' and there can be many different types of these, including in the underdark. We shouldn't assume these classes are ALL going to be horse-focused.
