Hi,

The new implimentation of the Earthkin Defender has a critical flaw in it, notably it makes Your character Flat-Footed

I did not verify if the Dodge AC is compensated to accommodate the loss of Dodge/Dex AC but if it is not the Stance is actually a debuff instead of a buff.

Where it is most damaging is the loss of Earthkin Defender Sneak Immunity due to flatfooting. The moment you turn on the Stance you are subject to sneak attacks which is a deadly combination with the inability to move around.

The cutscene-immobilizer effect used in the script Flatfoots the character as any immobilizer effect.

Please change the Defensive Stance to provide a movement speed reduction effect instead.

Also the application of the Stance Flatfoots your character for one round during its activation.

In overall the defensive Stance should be rewritten as the ability to stack it with ImprvExpertise is making it too strong as an AC buff.

Were you attacking something?

The stance immobilizes you but iirc as long as you target an enemy (basically as long as you have an action in the action queue) you will cease to be flat-footed.

Cutscene Immobilize renders you flatfooted regardless of whether you are attacking. If that effect was indeed used, then it would make Defensive Stance pretty awful.

It is unfortunately as I feared there is no compensation to the lost AC.

TLDR:
Using Defensive Stance Flatfoots You in fully. Which means you loose the Sneak Immunity and All of Your Dodge/Dex/Tumble

This is not reflected on the character sheet of course - the character sheet will show You your AC going up but the combat log will show You enemies hitting you below your character sheet AC.

Unless the Def Stance will be rewritten - using it at present is dangerous to Your character

Can confirm this is fixed now.

You are no longer flatfooted
