PDK Fear affected by spell failure

As title, spell failure chances seem to cause PDK fear to fail. If it does, it needs a rest before it can be refreshed.
At this point I've seen it happen on horseback and also in anti-magic zones, not sure about ranger/pdk wearing the ranger vestments.

Not to beat a dead horse here, but it seems like it's specifically the spell failure from the horse riding script that is causing this.

I've noticed this myself. Wish there was a fix.
(maybe with haks we could just have a new instant action feat tor eplace the ability?)

Another way to fix this is to have the Fear auto-refresh or be able to be vast infinite times. It is still on a CD timer, but the spell failure then wouldn’t keep it blanked out until you rest.
Resting is the only thing that fixes it at the moment, relog won’t refresh the ability. It happens often enough that being limited to resting to fix it is a huge problem.

Just bumping this due to horse update. The horses are causing this problem with the way ASF is being applied.

What about giving pdk a free riding feat. It is thematic and not a huge break as far as power. It only gets rid of the spell failure and adds 1 ab on horse. Then the dev team doesn't have to go digging to find the bug

On another note, it also fails when entangled. Then you can't get it back until rest.

This is still a very frustrating bug. It has been a few months now, could someone weigh in on whether it could be fixed or not?

I think this should be fixed. Hopefully will make its way in game soon(tm).
