New Visual Update

Hi

I assume this has to do with those giant pines in the Crags but any attempt to log into any of the areas in the Skull Crags crashes me. If not instantly then after a few steps.

If there is anything I can do here, please let me know.

Thank you,
-S

There is a bug with NWSync that may be causing this if you recently used a server transition. If you entirely exit NWN, restart, and try to enter does it also not work?

I've been there a lot and had no issue.

I exit and come back and it happens again. I assumed it may have something to do with summons or foes but it happens even when there is nothing around. The biggest culprit is the Skull Crags bridge/Howling Pass.

The 3 areas that changed are Skull Crag Foothills (North), Skull Crag (Lower Mountains) and Skull Crag (Howling Pass) North

In all 3 it was just the addition of rocks & trees. It could be that the complexity of these is too great for your system, or that there is a specific issue with one of the models. I've done a lot of running around and had no issues personally, and will wait to see what others are reported.

With the addition of hundreds of new models there is a limit to how much we can test privately, but if we roll them out slowly we should be able to isolate those that cause problems.

If you cannot fix this issue by lowering your graphic settings, stand still once the area is loaded and ping the DM channel. Hopefully one can pull you to safety. Thus far you're the only player reporting issues in these areas, but time will tell whether or not this is an isolated case.

I ran around in those areas fully warded with summons, after reset. It seems to be sorted now.
