Earthkin Defender need some improvements.

Take more than 5lvls of ED is pointless, because this class do not recive any bonuses through lvling.
And it is absolutely unfair. Lore wise - this class is fortress with the legs, but whole idea of ABSORBING damage is crap, because AC is always better than taking % of damage. But whole point of ED is protect and absorb damage instead your teammates. I do not suggest delete ED as class or make him like "another AC tank". I do love whole idea of ED as is and that why i suggest this "flow of changes" for ED.
Defensive stance.
Whats wrong: Do not take ANY bonuses from ED-LvLs which is ridiculous.
What can be changed: Obviously - let DS scale from levels and stats. This is all about defence, then let DS scale from CON.
How i see it:
- Each 3 lvls of ED - DS take plus additional Damage Reduction bonus equal to CON(base) modifire /2.
- When ED use DS - all mobs in area must attack ED. (Guard is good, but it can do ANY fightet, that makes ED is not special)
- Each 10lvl of ED - you reduce move speed penalty to your DS on 17%.
- Each 5lvl of ED - you recive +1 CON.
- At 20lvl of ED - you get immunity to critical hits while using DS (This bonus works only if have tower shield in your left hand).
- Bonus: If you have as multy-class only ED: DS recive double bonus to save throw, CON and AC. (Master Defender must be a master of defend...)
- Bunus: "Pain tolerance" - If sobriety is lower than 0, ED recive % damage resictance equal to sobriety raiting /3.
And MOST intresting by my opinion... On epic level you can CHOSE path of defend.
Note: If you chose one - you lose possiblity to take other feats of "path".
1) Dead defense: On DS activation - chacter counts as in parry mod and recive +70 to parry, also he can't move or be disarmed, knockdowned or be under effect of fear. (This feat can be activated as improved DS. Player still can use common DS.)
2) Reckless defender: On DS activation all party members under ED defense will transfer 70% of taken damage to ED. (This feat can be activated as improved DS. Player still can use common DS.)
3) Endurance defender: On DS activation - ED will regenerate HP each round equal to CON (base) modificator. Tick of HPregen depends on attacks per round (But can be higher than 5). While under DS - a character can't be exhausted or take penalty from it.
4) Mentor's defend: All member under ED guard will recive bonus to discipline (aquel to 50% of ED discipline) and Damage reduce based on EDLvL *0.5.
5) Raging defender: All CON modificator counts as bonus to STR modificaor. Move speed penalty removed.
- (DE lose STR bonus if he have no party member under his defend.)
- (All bonuses have no effects if in party more than one ED.)
6) Shield wall: If under ED guard aura there's another ED all ED(Under aura) recive bonuses of "Dead defense" feat. and halfed bonuses from "Endurance defender".
All number can be tweakin.*
