UMD on New Projectiles

UMD on New Projectiles

I've noticed with the new special ranged items, they're listing a UMD requirement but not respecting it.

The following items are unusable to my character, who has 36 UMD:

My character to use items of these types without issue, and any other UMD items I've come across without a problem. So I'm unclear why these ones are acting differently.

Do you have exotic weapon proficiency? (Or monk levels?)

The second one is a sling bullet, so...

The character does not have exotic or monk proficiencies, but is typically able to equip and use such weapons at an AB penalty due to the change on how proficiencies worked a while back.

With preexisting UMD shurikens and ranged weapons, I’ve had no problem using them. It’s only the new ones that have been an issue.

Also as was pointed out, the second item is a sling bullet; which I definitely have both proficiency and sufficient UMD for.

I've noticed this with some AA arrows turned into bolts via the UD tinker. Says I need a low amount of UMD which I have, but still won't let me use them for some reason.

I'm unable to equip the above sling bullet as a fey with 36 UMD, despite the UMD requirement being only 10.
