Dominate person/monster can be quite a useful RP tool. I do not think it is necessary to have such an obvious visual effect to show when a creature is under mind control. Given WYSIWYG players can currently claim to know when an npc is dominated purely due to the vfx.

I would like to suggest the vfx are completely removed, thus allowing for a little more dynamic RP.
