Is there a reason the main trader you sell in to Skal deletes things after less than a minute? Things others sell, don't appear unless actively already in the barter screen when they are selling them. Is this a design choice? Other places you literally end up with pages and pages of things people have sold the the vendor 24 rl hours after they sold them.

I think shops actually reset inventory whenever there are no PCs in the area. The Hub always has someone around so the shops retain items sold for many RL hours. The Skal merchants are busy but PCs don't linger hence reseting frequency whenever the building is empty.

Precisely as above, this helps with performance as it is less memory to focus on.

Thus PC to PC sales are almost exclusively done via shops or direct trades.
