I get a lot of fun out of RPing with my rangers animal companion, but it never feels quite right when the text is coming out of my character instead of the companion itself.

At the very least, the ability to talk through the companion would be nice.. but I would love to see the ability to possess the animal to be able to RP through it with movement and text.

Possession isn't possible.

I've not implemented an equivalent to -f for animal companions, because I really don't want to see chatty ones. Chatty pixies makes sense, chatty wolves doesn't.

It's part of the trade-off - companions are useful combatants, familiars are better for RP.
