For the sake of adding variety to the end tier loot available and allowing a unique item to benefit a heavily nerfed class, I think an addition of "footwraps" would do well. Currently fine elven boots are indisputably the best option for a plethora of classes, +2 dex is hard to pass up, but monks don't typically wear footwear at all. I think this item would provide an actual ic item to match the kind of equipment a real monk would have.
