It seems to me that the AB increase is intended to work so that the total bonus for any combination of rogue/assassin is +2.

With 10+ assassin levels I am actually losing ab by having rogue as well (+2 hidden danger, -1 from 19 total between rogue/assassin)

Is this how it is supposed to work and I wont get that ab back until/unless I have a combined total of 24 rogue/assassin levels? It seems to me it should work like this assassin bonus +2, combined bonus +1 , -1 for having a higher assassin bonus, net result +2. Not net result +1

Are you checking your total AB or going by the hidden danger in-game message? I think it does even out to give you the AB bonus you'd get for every 5 assassin levels, if that makes sense, but the rogue bonus is harder to see in action.

I think it should just be one or the other myself-- so hidden danger should cancel the rogue bonus if only for clarity.

I checked total ab. I hit 19 combined rogue/assassin levels at a point I should have also increased Bab by 1. Hidden danger bonus message changed from 2 to 1 and total ab stayed the same, essentially the Bab increase replaced the loss of hidden danger ab

Bumping this as it is still an issue. When the ab bonus granted by assassin levels is greater then the ab bonus granted by combined total of assassin and rogue levels, the total ab granted is the lower. Example 10 assassin/ 9 rogue. +2 from assassin, but getting -1 from rogue+assassin

I expect this will balance out when combined rogue/assassin is 24 or greater, but this will remain an issue for any build that doesnt hit that mark
