pick-pocketing needs a fix

So basically my char stole an item that is too big then put it back? Right.....
Please fix that appropriate item is stolen.

Is this one getting any attention? 30% of successful pick-pocket skill usage does nothing!

Working as intended, yeah.
Only items that use 1x1, 1x2 or 2x1 inventory space slots can be stolen, with some exceptions. The item "Out" is a key: while it's a 2x1 item, keys cannot be stolen, hence it is returned to the owner's inventory.

I understand that yes, why my charter tries to steal something that is not stealable?
Shouldn't he be stealing from things he cannot steal? I mean come-on, it is obvious flaw in the algo of PP,
the check should be preformed on 1x1 or 2x1 items not all inventory if you'd limit t he size.
Now it looks like you successfuly steal something and then it is returned back.

Also does that mean I can attempt again?

Wait is the rule 1 attempt or 1 stolen item every RL day?

If latter, then he should be able to attempt again.

My understanding is it's only -successful- attempts that count.
You're allowed to steal once a day, not attempt to steal.

That said, it should always be done with the aim of creating roleplay.


Also, Question -
Keys can not be stolen.
Keyrings are 1 by 1 items. Can they be stolen?
