Commoner getting kill xp

The new spawn with the golden names are giving the commoner class advent xp for the kill. It pops up saying "Adventuring Bonus: Unique Foe Slain (+X delayed XP).
As they are not supposed to get xp for any kills I figured this is a bug.

Update: A goblin and a gibberling gave the xp bonus. Now have killed a rat with the golden name and no advent xp for it.
