The player object for pirate writs does not update rank on completion rather on acceptance of next task.
Once there are no more tasks it does not reflect your final rank.
I know with adventurer writs i could delete the object and recreate one but I've not tried with the pirate specific object. As there are no more tasks, there seems to be risk of deleting if more content is added.
