precision spells turning players hostile and targetting them

Precision AoE spells such as IGMS or Firebrand (AoE spells that target individuals in an area but do not affect non-hostiles) are setting people within the AoE hostile. This means that a mage cannot target something that is standing next to another PC who is not in their party without inadvertently targeting them. This was not the normal behaviour historically and I'm not sure when it changed but I assume it's a bug.

Bump. Pretty serious issue for spellcasters.

As far as I know we haven't changed anything on our end and this is a Beamdog issue. I'll check with the team to verify.

I don't know the source of this bug, but I can verify that, at least with firebrand, it occasionally happened before the EE release, and on one notable occasion in a massive PvE fight, I actually did more damage to my party's tank with firebrand than all the monsters that attacked him combined. He was still a member of my party.
My character then apologized profusely, because he is extremely proud in general of his almost-zero-collateral-damage track record and this was quite an ugly stain on it. Part of his distressed explanation included that "the spell isn't supposed to work like that." He then switched to chain lightning for the rest of the run, IIRC.
This has happened on both my True Flame and my Evocation-Specialized wizard. I have attempted to duplicate it, but have been unable to do so in a fashion that approaches anything that can be called reliable- I can only tell you that I've definitely seen it more than once.
Firebrand effects friendly PCs

As i play a Trueflamer, one of the most used spells is Firebrand.
Sadly it always hits friendly PCs if they are not within my party, which happens oftly.
Furthermore, both sides have to set manually the hostility back to "like" even so, it starts to switch to hostile everytime back even out of area or even on another map after casting it on enemies.

This is still a problem. I just accidentally obliterated a neutral newbie trying to help them

I haven't seen it yet, but as one who favors Arcanists, and one who is using a TF Sorcerer a fair bit, I'll keep an eye out. Maybe with enough of us bringing in data we can pinpoint the issue.
I would suggest that anyone who sees this behavior please type up everything about the situation that you possibly can, even if it seems unrelated.

Can confirm that I also had this issue using firebrand.
