I don't know if this has been addressed before, but i noticed that when i select the char to do something with the menu of professions, there list is like this

Yeah, something got messed up somewhere, the Devs are aware of the issue and it should be fixed soon.

Also saw it on a tailor craft station on the planes server if it helps.

So I'm having the same issue, tried to post my own screenshot but apparently the attachment wouldn't comply, but it looks just like that.
