Soul Crystal Respawn Point Not Funcitoning

The Soul Crystal within the Grove has been reportedly non-functional, and I have also experienced this myself.
Despite using it and selecting [Set Respawn Location], respawning takes you to Mayfields outside teh Arcane Tower instead every single time, and not back to the Grove.
