Using the PGCC as Public Test server more often

I really liked that the new classes all went through at least a round on the PGCC for people to play with before seeing live. I'd love to see all the mechanical changes that are not fixing time critical bugs have a round on there and advertised as such.

It would let people play around with the change and it can be seen if it is working as intended or has some unintended effects. While I don't think you'd see a change overnight or it would go away, but the vitriol thrown about might lessen or have a bit less support too.

This isn't some veiled statement of "we need more mechanically inclined people looking at it" either, someone that has no preconceived notions of "the meta" can often find something unintended that should probably be considered. Having a large chunk of the server involved multiplies the hours testing a change even if not all that time is helpful.

I agree with this completely and think this becoming the standard would be a big improvement of the updating process.

In general, I think seeking community feedback prior to implementing mechanical changes is extremely likely to yield better outcomes.

Well, you see, it's funny you should say that...
