This is more of a request/suggestion...

The rules forbid excessive theft (more than once per 24 hours), but there are quite a lot of characters around.

Would be great if there was a way to recall, for example, last twenty PCs pickpocketed within last 24 IRL hours. A console command or something.

Rewards are not as high as one would think, despite the risk.

A sensible idea to help people keep within rules!

So what I hear some people do is simply keep a list on a note pad with names and day/hour. Not that this command is a bad idea or anything but its far from urgent.

Yeah, lacking automatic tracking it is an option, although a bit cumbersome.

Never played a pickpocket but if I was going to I would meticulously track, screenshot and log every attempt to show I was abiding by the rules because this is an action as precarious as PVP, you never know if the other player will completely overreact.
