This may or may not apply to other bulk gemstones, I have yet to test.
5 CP was required to make one ID 1090 instead of the advertised 10 CP.

Did you have more skill points invested into art crafting than the amount necessary to bulk craft greenstones? Craft mastery applies in that case, giving you a chance to get 2 progress for 1 CP with each CP invested. If you have more than 20 skill points invested this happens automatically except for 1's.
