So uh, i connect as usual, haven't changed a single thing on my end. And I get that error when trying to connect:



Sinfar-internet suggests it's not a password error but a cd key error. Except i haven't changed cd key so uh... what gives? Anyone had that before?

I tried alot of ways to get around it.. nothing worked
Beamdog probably had something to do with it. As I could not get on to another game server.

Feeling less alone right now! ahah servers are down so let's see if it works again when it comes back up!

As speculated above this is a Beamdog issue, and they're currently looking into it.

It's great to have EE, but it always scares me that we now need to rely on Beamdog to keep the server list running. Hopefully this is just a minor hiccup.

Yep, dependency is a non issue until it becomes one... (if that makes sense, felt smart in my head).

Anyway, servers are back on, but problem not fixed! As you said, let's hope it's a "hours" fix and not a "days" fix.

Just to be clear, this isn't the 'fault' of Beamdog, but rather more of a global issue with certain servers. In the above statement I meant only that it was not something we at Arelith were able to fix.
