ESF Necromancy Create Greater Undead not up-tiering one summon for palemaster

Epic Spell Focus: Necromancy now adds 1 use/day of Create Greater Undead to the Epic Spell radial.
The casting of "Create Greater Undead" is not properly up-tiering one of the undead for my palemaster.
My regular usage of "Create Greater Undead" granted by palemaster levels is properly up-tiering one of the undead. The feat-granted one used to work, but this broke in the last week or so.
