This has been a problem for a while, and it seems like, from snooping around, that it affects (mostly) CoTs. The main deity that is worshipped disappears from functionality and does not answer to -pray commands, nor do any of the effects of worshipping a deity apply. This is, as you can expect, extremely annoying to play with.

Is this all deities or just certain ones?

I am not sure because I cannot choose a new deity. The original deity was Naralis Analor.

When did this happen?

There was a bug that this only occured when going to Cities, but that should have been fixed about a week ago? I haven't heard any more reports of this (and only happens on racial locked dieties)

This happened about three weeks to a month ago and I still cannot fix it.

What alignment are you?

Lawful Good.

I'm not sure what to tell you. I haven't heard of anyone else encountering this.

A divine class

There is no reaosn you can't pick Naralis Analor. I know there are other Naralis Analor followers out there. I'll have to see about testing it when I get a chance.

The issue is not about being unable to pick Naralis Analor, but being unable to pick any deity at all through the deity book or rest menu after Naralis has been blanked out.

The character is in the epics, and was so when this occured, and has been worshipping Naralis Analor mechanically since creation, until a dungeon run in June. I was expecting it to pass with resets but it did not.

As of my latest log-in, this seems to have been resolved. I'll post in this thread if it happens again.

My character is a Drow.

This has started happening to me, for some reason i cant pick any Dark Seldarine Faiths, even tried the Heretical one for Freth and that is not available.

Tested on all kinds of other dieties and surprisingly its allows those based on my alignment only from the Major, intermediate, lesser etc etc lists just not heretical or my own race lists.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

im still experiencing this. Was hoping some resets would sort it out. Im currently have to worship a standard surface religion based on my alignment and unable to choose anything else, including my own race pantheon or Heretical Faiths of the same alignment.

I told him in PM, but he took a divine class and does not have the gift so heresys are unavailable as an option.

Just feels weird being lawful evil with a dip into blackguard and having to choose a god outside of the Dark Seldarine.

Choices now are shar, Bane. a few others...

It’s really not that weird. Drow gods are CE for good reason.

There are also plenty of devils to choose from.

Then why is the Freth Heresy behind some sort of wall? I could in theory have worshipped them before, i then become a Blackguard and im shunned? I think that is what i mean by odd.

Because they are hertical beliefs. You can't worship them when you become a divine class. You could have also worshiped Torm before too.

Alright thanks, it doesn't make much sense to me but i guess there the rules.

Seems weird for heresies for divine classes to be locked behind a gift, but I suppose that is not a topic for bug reports.

Can at least one who cannot afford the gift choose a close enough deity and worship the heresy via attunement to an altar? For example, can one choose Asmodeus as deity and then worship the Freth heresy?
