Dispellable Shadowlord: Bug of Feature?

Post by Huelander »

Hello.

The Epic Shadow Lord feat grants a shadowdancer's summonable shadow an immunity to dismissal, banishment and word of faith. However, in the test module a warlock managed to rather reliably dispel the summon with greater dispel. This is a bit strange as I was under the impression that the immunity to the aforementioned spells have the express purpose of not having a one-cast solution to getting rid of the summoned shadow. Doubly strange, I think, is that the three 'unsummon' spells exist at all when you can just use much more commonly employed dispel magic instead to get rid of summons.

Cheers.

It's not a bug.
Edited for grammar to make it worse, probably.
