If you're a vampire carrying over your capacity it seems that every single round you are reminded of this fact when the character's voiceset triggers the overburdened line.

At first I thought it was just the regeneration but it keeps proccing even when you have full health.

Every round.

I will save one next I pick up too much but for the most part the combat log does show the overburdened note every round along with the voiceline.

To add: I may need to do more research on this. I may have been overburdened a second time later on and wasn't getting the lines and I may not have been damaged during the short time it took to drink a potion and wasn't getting the lines. Maybe it's tied somehow to regeneration after all (as in, even if you regen to full, something is still triggering by the round in the background.)

Sounds like it's something to do with how the Str bonus is applied?

I'm not sure what the pattern is yet. It goes and goes and then just... stops. Still overloaded but not complaining about it anymore.

Had a small battle after all those messages, took some damage, looted some more, and the messages just seemed to stop.

This appears to be a consequence of how vampires heartbeats are handled. Right now it appears that the heartbeat logic, which is used for tracking sunlight exposure on a round-by-round basis, also includes vampire stat bonus recalculations. So if you're in that sweet spot where you're overburdened with your base stats but not your vampire stats, you'll see this behavior.

Without really digging in I don't know how involved a refractor would be to fix this, but I'll add it to our internal tracker. For now, I'm afraid you should either be mindful of carrying capacity or learn to love your character's voiceset!

Aha I had a feeling it was related to some kind of mechanic just like that. This follows that it stopped when I picked up more and more stuff and got out of the sweet spot.

Burden sound is fixed.
