Is this supposed to be happening now? Everything that hits me with any dispel now, woosh, everything gone.

It was probably a targeted mords. Targeted mords attempt to to dispel everything on that target.

Ok so what you are wondering instead is if something changed in the Dispel Check ? No idea. Are those rolls even in the logs ?

Mind to put your caster level and possible check dc increases (SF Abj, Arcane defense Abj) ?

Just chiming in from a low level. My level 11 pure ranger was getting wammied by the priests in the ziggurat last night after the update. Stripped mage armor, bearskin, and shield every single time, which were cast from scrolls. Didn't touch cats grace cast from spellbook.

I think something is wrong. Level 14 mundane, all buffs from the wands.



Every lesser dispel in single level of the Mound stripped everything I had running. After third full dispel I stopped buffing and just went along ''naked''. I never struggled this much with dispels on mundanes before.

Pretty sure this happened last time disps were tweaked. Probably it's not counting CL correctly.

Level 28 Mundane character getting stripped entirely by Lesser Dispels cast by Boogin Spiritualists. Something is broken.

+1 Dispel now can just destroy all buffs in single cast.

So I am noticing a difference between potion, scroll and spellbook. Seems like potion and scroll are set at spell level.

Happened at approximately 11:38 Est on the Ice road map with the portal. Even dispelled the Hexblade DI gained from Strange spell. It did not dispell Protection from Spells cast by another caster. I think its not registering Hexblade levels as a proper CL

So- Hexblade is actually just bugged because I forgot a line of code. Sorry for the inconvenience!

If anyone is NOT a hexblade and is having a similar issue, please either reply here or private message me your level spread, all of the buffs/abilities you had used during that session and their sources (IE if it came from a wand or what), and anything else you might find relevant.

I tested this on the dev server and couldn't find any issue. I got on one of my mundane 30s on the live servers and asked an abjurer to dispel me a bunch in an area with a wide variety of lessers/dispels/greaters/disjunctions, and it all seems to be working correctly. As such, I can't replicate any issue with what information I have at the moment.

Thanks to the people that sent me some information!

After many hours of deep diving and poking around, I was able to replicate it and isolate why it was happening. Very odd and obscure, should be fixed on the next reset, otherwise very soon.

This bug persists on the PGCC server. Unsure if it continues on the main server.

Any chance someone can share exactly what is happening so we can all watch for it?
