It's possible to get around deity alignments by using the "Deity" field at character creation.



Using the in-game deity menu removes Cyric as an option in this example.

When you transition or maybe change servers, this likely won’t persist.

You're right, that did give a "Your deity turned away from you. Select another deity you want to serve." and removed the non-matching deity. Left with a "no deity".

However, I was still able to level up and cast spells all the way to circle 9 with no deity on PGCC.

On live it still let me cast spells, but I don't have a cleric to test anything above circle 2.

Took away -pray in both cases.
