Description of Bug Experienced:
Bless Weapon is not being able to be cast on oneself when you are a Spellsword.


Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Get Bless Weapon scroll, cast on self.


Expected Result:
Weapon gets blessed.

Actual Result:
Error message is displayed (must target creature or weapon).

Additional Information/Notes
There seems to be a workaround: If you are a Spellsword that uses 1-handed weapons, equipping another weapon in the offhand allows for Bless Weapon to be cast like normal. With no offhand weapon equipped or with 2-handed weapons the error message gets displayed.

You can bypass this bug by casting the spell or using the scroll on the weapon while un-equipped in your inventory as well. Aka sitting in the backpack and not in hand.

Never had this issue on spellsword, cast your spells on the weapon then while weapon is equipped cast the bless weapon on yourself, it will aplly to the weapon on its own.

I know that with Greater Magic Weapon you need to actually cast it on yourself, not the weapon. I dont actually remember but it might as well work the same with Bless Weapon.

It doesn't, it uses its own logic. Updating Bless Weapon to use the same weapon selection logic as GMW does, which either A.) target the weapon directly, or B.) target the wielder to affect either the current one-handed (right-hand) weapon or the current two-handed weapon, as applicable. Fix is in the pipeline.

Having an issue with my wee Hin - Ash Hollow.

Casting Bless Weapon on myself (level 4 paladin), gives the error that the spell must be cast on a weapon or a creature armed with a melee weapon. The spell does work if cast directly on my own equipped weapon.

I believe it should automatically cast to the weapon if I target myself, but this does not seem to be the case!
