Forest gnome size

As the drow size was changed a while ago, I would like to suggest a shrinking of the forest gnomes to lore size.
They should have an average height of 2'1" – 2'10" (64–86 cm) for males and 2'1" – 2'6" (64–76 cm) for females, and thus be shorter than halflings, who are 2′8″‒3′4″ (81‒100 cm.), but with the current model are huger than a halfling even with short setting.

So the huge forest gnome should be approximately as tall as a small halfling, while the small should be even smaller. I guess that would be around the size of a Derro are after their shrink from dwarven size, but I don't know if that is compareable/helps, as the derro dwarven base is medium sized.
