Spellsword/PM imbue

Made a character in PGCC that has spellsword and PM levels. Cast imbue using level 6 spells from spellbook (doesnt matter which spell, result is the same) but the imbue on weapon is only tier 1 imbue (d4) not tier 2 imbue (d8).
Steps to reproduce
----------------------------
Make a character with spellword and PM levels. Cast spells from book on weapon.
Expected result
-----------------------
Imbue should scale based on level of spell cast on weapon.
Actual result
-------------------
Imbue stays at tier 1 irrespective of level of spell.
