Shaman spells...

Shaman is pretty good but its missing one key spell, restoration. It seems odd that it does not get it despite getting lesser restoration.
Im sure there will be those who say that its normal because shaman uses the druid spell list but that's not actually true, shaman has access to many spells druids absolutely don't get including ones that used to be exclusively from the wizard/sorc spell list. I think it should be added... thoughts?

It's a cleric spell not a druid or arcane one i see no reason for it to be added to a arcane druid combo class of Shaman.

Shaman get plenty of cleric spells already (Raise Dead, for example).

Shaman is not an "arcane druid"

Shaman is a divine caster who sits somewhere between druid and cleric. Personally I do feel that Restoration is a big blind spot in their spell list, along with Bestow/remove curse, and Darkfire/Flame weapon for elemental weapon damage.

Shaman has one of the best spell selections of any innate class. Elemental swarm, power word kill (and bonus feats to beef it up), haste, greater spell breach? No, it doesn't get restoration, but it's in good company as the only classes that do get restoration are cleric and favored soul. Built in breach/haste for a divine caster is nothing to complain about.

I completely forgot about Power Word: Kill.

I was talking to another recently and had a small lamentation about the shaman spell list not having anything with significant "oomph" like wizards and clerics have, but Power Word: Kill is perfect. And fits shaman I think.

Another spell many forget about, but is great for a shaman is fairy fire. Stripping concealment for a creature is fantastic.

Edit: Sorry to hijack this thread, but might as well ask a question since it relates to shaman spells too (and is relevant for druids):

But is there any reason to cast sunbeam over sunburst?
