Arelith

Arelith is a big server with a lot of players. Many of those players would like to call Arelith their home. But they cannot find a home to purchase on Arelith. There is a big demand for homes on Arelith. The new settlement added some new homes but they were quickly bought up and drama ensued about some people reserving these homes for their friends or trying to resell them for profit- because there is such a big demand for nice homes on Arelith that being the first to pay 20k for a vacant quarter can get you 2-5 million gold from established veteran characters. And even if you spend real life years grinding that 5 million gold to buy that nice home on Arelith, it can be taken away at a whim by anyone with enough votes to take over a settlement if your character enters any kind of conflict with them IC or they decide they don't like you OOC.

I am angry and discontent at this system. I want answers from the top. Are you going to try and solve this problem? Or do you think it is a good thing that most of us will never be able to have a place on Arelith to call home?

There are still plenty of places left in the city to my understanding. You can usually find a place to live in a few weeks.

I am locking this now until an Admin comes in to address it more.

Flatly speaking, auctioning of the brand new added homes will not be tolerated.
So if you're doing that, release it or it will be released for you. More to come.
