Is this intentional? I don’t see it listed on the wiki.

What other Award would you be taking? If it's a race-locked one do you meet the other requirements to make the race (alignment, base race)? If you're trying to do the Guldorand start Commoners are unable to - that's an oversight on my part for the Wiki I'm fixing as we speak because I forgot to include it.

Yeah, I wanted to use it for the Guldorland award, but my neutral commoner couldn’t select slave or outcast either. Noble was also unavailable. I’m guessing it’s to prevent the oxymoron of a noble “commoner,” but nobles in history were essentially the same thing.

Commoners cannot be nobles.

Commoners cannot do the Guldorand Start.

Slave/Outcast no longer requires an award, just have to be a non-good Human/Half-Orc to select it as a background, as well.
